How to have Maximum Fuel Efficiency from your Car

Fuel consumption is a very important factor for all vehicles. In this blog, we will guide you with the tips that how can you save fuel and have a better fuel economy on the road.

Accelerate Smoothly

Accelerating the vehicle has a direct impact on the fuel economy as if you floor the accelerator very hard the vehicle will automatically consume more fuel. Always accelerate gently and take your foot off the accelerator when you are going downhill. The lighter your foot will be the better fuel efficiency will be. Turn your vehicle off when you are on a signal or stopping for a longer period. Also, if your car has eco idle turn it on as it has a major impact.

Check Engine’s RPM

RPM is revolution per minute and it monitors how fast is the engine of the car operating and when is it changing gears. In easy words when pistons go up and down in the engine. If your RPM is reaching the top and your vehicle is changing gear there that means you are flooring the pedal and maximum horsepower is being used of the vehicle. Always keep rpm low at high speed as gears will shift smoothly and your fuel efficiency will also be improved.

Tyres Air Pressure

Your tires must be properly inflated and if they are underinflated the movement will be slow and the engine will have to produce more power to move the vehicle from one point to another. Tire manufacturers suggest having 30 PSI to 35 PSI in your car tires.
