Marlin Tyre: A Thorough Look into Tyre Manufacturing Process

In the realm of radial truck tyre, Marlin Tyre shines as a technological marvel, delivering unbeatable performance and durability. Built to carry heavy loads at speeds up to 70 mph, these tyres are crafted to go the distance while providing top-notch performance. Let us explore the technology that sets Marlin Tyre apart from the rest.

At the core of Marlin Tyre is a durable tread, featuring a thick layer of rubber with a carefully molded tread pattern. The rubber used is tailored for specific applications, blending natural and synthetic rubber, additives, polymers, carbon, and black carbon. This unique mix ensures strength, resilience, and resistance to heat and wear. These materials are expertly combined and cured at high temperatures, forming a chemically bonded tread.

A standout feature of Marlin Tyre is the utilization of two distinct tread rubbers, visible when the tread is cut. The top layer, known as the "Cap/Crown," is crafted for long and even wear, while the layer below, the "Base," shields the casing from heat—a critical factor as heat poses a threat to the tyre. The under-tread offers additional support, with layers of steel cords and rubber, typically three or four belts and a body ply. The high-quality steel belts resist punctures from nails and other road hazards, ensuring a dependable and long-lasting tyre. In the sidewall, steel cords run from bead to bead, maintaining the tyre's structure and flexing as the tyre rolls. Special compounds safeguard the sidewall from UV light, preventing cracks. A top-notch bead bundle securely grips the rim, forming a tight seal between the tyre and the wheel. To prevent air loss, Marlin Tyre include an inner liner with 2 to 3 separate layers. The first layer prevents moisture, while the others bond with the casing ply, minimizing air escape. Thanks to premium materials, Marlin Tyre only lose 2 PSI per month.

Behind every Marlin tyre is a team of skilled technicians working in a high-energy environment, ensuring precision in manufacturing. The outcome is a tyre that symbolizes the future of durability and performance.
